While this company did bring and store the storage pod as we had requested, they could not possibly have communicated... any poorer with my house. I ordered a storage pod for May, and it showed up on our property without any warning whatsoever; likewise, when they came to pick it up in early June, they did not send a message or email letting me know they were coming to pick it up (nor had we asked them to at that point). They sent me the bill and I called them to pay the same day. I did not receive a response on the phone. The next response I got from them was today (August 31) demanding payment or they would bring in a collection agency. How are you going to threaten me with a collection agency when the payment was so unimportant to you that you couldn't be bothered to follow up my phone call or send any follow-up email for over two full months? I do not recommend their work, although I am leaving 2 stars instead of 1 because the woman who I just spoke with on the phone was very pleasant and helpful and I am thankful for her quickly resolving the issue.read more

Needed a 2,000 sqft house packed and moved. Sent a team of three to pack and they were efficient and professional. ... The next day a team of five came to pack the truck and unpack into the new house.All the guys were super nice and hardworking. I needed some things moved around after unloading and they were more than happy to do it. Post move nothing was broken, scratch, dented, destroyed, or any other damaging adjective.Would highly recommend.read more

Ben Lesnefsky and NetMove Moving and Storage quickly responded to an extremely last minute change in our moving plans... and had us taken care of in a matter of hours. Ben's "we'll get it handled" attitude while awaiting the birth of baby number SIX(!!!) was incredible. The crew that showed up Friday to pack up the truck was super helpful and respectful of our belongings. Saturday afternoon they returned to unload, set up our rooms and beds and were amazing! They even stayed a little late to move a few items to different areas of the house because we changed our minds about placement!! **STAY AWAY** Dont trust your things in a zippy shell for more than a few weeks. They are metal buildings that sweat... and will cause all of your things to mold. Customer service is terrible and good luck getting anyone to call you back.read more

I did a “2 house into 1 house” local move that included moving trucks at one location, to be held overnight and... containers, at another, that were dropped off/picked up on random dates. To add to this logistics nightmare, we were moving dates consistently throughout the process. Ben was the overall lead and handled my day to day calls. He owned the process, controlled his teams and was, basically, the project manager that ensured things got done and I was a happy customer. He did just that. Always in control, always proactive and always saying he will do what’s needed to make this move a success. Could have been a nightmare but ended up to be the best part of our moving process. Don’t think I’ve uttered those words before; the movers were the best part of moving. I obviously HIGHLY recommend Ben and his team. Can’t say enough good things.read more

I can't say enough good things about Zippy Shell in CLT. I read a lot of horror stories about competitors, so decided... to try Zippy Shell. I sure am glad I did. They delivered two shells on a steep driveway on the promised day. Anita was great setting up all the appointments. Daniel is a pro at delivering and moving these pods. They picked up the shells and delivered them to the new address on the requested day, and picked up the empty shells on the day they said they would. I highly recommend this company, if you want your move done right and on time.read more

We had a week and half between our moves. We used zippy shell because we didn’t want the inconvenience of having to... load up and unload twice. The customer service was amazing! I needed temporary storage for my garage renovation and originally had contracted with another onsite storage company. ... When the other company arrived to deliver their container, they weren't able to put it where I wanted because the crane system they use wasn't maneuverable enough. I sent them away. I searched for a company that could do the job and Zippy Shell came through. Not only were they able to put the container where I wanted, but they were also able to deliver it within about an hour and a half after I contracted with them. The customer service has been great and the crew that brought the container out was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend Zippy Shell for all your moving and storage needs.read more

Hired Zippy Shell for packing, loading/unloading, transportation and storage of all items for long distance move. The... packaging service I paid for was to include all materials, however, when workers showed up they advised me I should go by blankets to wrap the furniture in as they only brought paper for this. The boxes were also cheap and flimsy (literally collapsing on my porch before even being loaded). When I called to complain, I was told that should anything arrive damaged, just give them a call and we can file a claim. Needless to say, items arrived damaged, but now Zippy Shell is now denying my claim stating they do not cover damage occurred during loading/unloading or due to "natural shifting" during transportation. I would highly advise you DO NOT USE Zippy Shell.read more

Zippy Shell was great! We actually had a unit with another company for our move, but we found that we needed another... unit for extra items. The other company didn't have another unit on such short notice, so I reached out to Zippy Shell. They were fantastic and super helpful! I, definitely, would recommend them and use them exclusively for future moves! The good thing about it is that the Zippy Shell could fit in our narrow driveway. The other unit couldn't and had to be parked on the side of the street. Also, the unit is guaranteed to be stores in a climate-controlled, indoor facility, which was great and reassuring that our stuff would not be sweltering in the sun! (Also, I didn't know that they actually have movers, which I didn't know about! We'll have to take advantage of that for any future moves!)read more
